New engines

Two new engines and the sound decoder for my X 76501/76502 Hauts-de-France rénové.

DB BR 120

I happened to get this model with its sound decoder at a very reasonable price! This engine has been seen pulling the Paris-Moscow train!

I gave it address #1241.

ÖBB Class 1116 - Taurus

I need this locomotive for several international train compositions.

It is Roco 70527. I need to change the DCC address; for now, it is #3.

X 76501/76502 Hauts-de-France rénové

Lastly, I thought my AGC had an issue until I found out that the decoder was missing. I now received the decoder from the store and I should install it next.

I gave it address #1241.

AGC X76500 Hauts-de-France from Rails Models Creation

A new  model from Rails Models Creation ...

Prototypical cars

This is the new livery of those AGC since the new region Hauts-de-France was formed.

Setting DCC address for 4 engines

Continuing on the recent activities, I set up the digital address for 4 other models.

Mehano T285 7847 - HLD 7764

I set the address to #7764:

Roco 73664 - Traxx E 186 320-8 ECR

I set the address to #320:

This is DCC only - sadly ...

Os.Kar 1546 - BB 475410

I set the address to #7542, because there's already an identical model with address 7541:

LS Models 10071 - X 76599/76600 "Nord Pas-de-Calais"

I set the address to #7659:

AGC B 82500 Nord Pas-de-Calais from Rails Models Creation

The Nord Pas-de-Calais region operates two types of AGC: X 76500 and B 82500. I already covered the X 76500 here. Today, we are looking at the other one.

Here are two nice pictures:

Miniature model

Similarly to the X 76500, I got my model from Rails Models Creation:

I assigned address #8259 on the ECoS:

The sound decoder is coming from train-modelisme.com: DĂ©codeur sonorisĂ© ESU Loksound Bastiani V5 21 pĂŽles. The notice is available here.

TER Nord-Pas-de-Calais

I found a long time ago a YouTube video of an AGC X 76500 going from Ascq to Orchies; this is here. I'm happy that I can now simulate the same maneuver on my layout:

And some pictures of the two trains:

AGC X 76500 Nord Pas-de-Calais from Rails Models Creation

In a previous post, I included a video from YouTube of an X76500 NPDC leaving the Ascq train station! I'm uber happy to now own that AGC model, with the identical numbers X 76709/76710!

The transformation was done by Rails Models Creation from an LS Models 10078 model with the sound decoder from ESU purchased from Train-Modelisme.

I had to update the names and icons of the functions on the ESU ECoS from this document, and here's the command screen:

And finally, here's how it looks - at the end I'm testing the interior lighting:
